Pinacoteca Ambrosiana

The Pinacoteca and Biblioteca Ambrosiana also called Ambrosiana Gallery is an historic library in Milan. Named after Ambrose, the patron saint of Milan, it was founded in 1609 by Cardinale Borromeo, whose agents scoured Western Europe and even Greece and Syria for books and manuscripts.

The Pinacoteca Ambrosiana is a really chest of art treasures with painting and drawings of the most famous artist in the world like Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Caravaggio, Botticelli and more.
